Software module for generating and managing P & ID diagrams CADMill Process is the basic tool in the CADMill Plant Design system that is used for documentation purposes in design and maintenance of process plant. CADMill Process provides the user with advanced support in designing process flow charts and P&ID diagrams. All objects are created with dynamic xdata information, which enables the user to add data to objects in a flexible manner. The data can later be extracted in reports and lists, by using dynamic links to CADMill Database (included in the CADMill Process). Through this functionality CADMill Process also offers automatic item numbering. The system includes comprehensive symbol libraries for process design. The symbol manager provides powerfull help in producing your own symbols. The design work is easy, and the user quickly sets parameters as insertion point, break data and if needed, number generation. CADMill Process graphical CAD-part is based on AutoCAD and the database is based on Microsoft Access. The system can also be configured to run with other database solutions.
