CADMill Automation is a software module developed for designing instrument loops and motor outgoing units. With CADMill Automation it's easy to create circuit diagrams by generating them directly from the database. Software's database includes and maintains:

• systems
• process stations, cabinets, racks and slots
• process cards, IO cards and channels
• cross-connection boxes and terminal block battens
• field boxes and terminal block battens
• current supply centrals and terminal block battens
• air supply centrals and headers
• main and field cabels
• current supply cabels and pneumatic tubes
• field equipments and converters
• standard circuits

Database application includes a lot of automatic functions for improving design efficiency. For example it can automatically choose free channels, terminal blocks and wires while creating circuit and connect main cables to the terminal blocks of cross-connection boxes and field boxes according to cable type.When control circuit's information and connections is feeded into the database instrumentation circuit diagram, corresponding to standard circuit, is automatically created in AutoCAD and depending on used frames it's also possible to print related list of equipments with it. User can create and add new standard circuits into the software with libraries specially developed for that. Additionally the software includes hook-up drawings described in PSK handbook 2.Software supports following automation systems:
